Job summary

Mercy seeks a dedicated Patient Care Assistant in Spencer, OK, to support therapists in providing compassionate care to patients of all ages within the Rehab Therapy Department.

You will assist with registrations, transfer patients to the Rehab Gym, and help prepare treatment areas, greet patients, and support scheduling. This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and reliable service throughout the patient care process.

Qualifications

• Experience: One year experience or education in therapies preferred.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist therapists with patient care duties as directed.
• Assist with registration and scheduling of patients.
• Transfer patients to and from the Rehab Therapy Gym.
• Maintain clean and safe treatment areas and prepare them for procedures.
• Greet patients and visitors, and notify therapists on arrival.
• Perform receptionist duties and transportation tasks as needed.
