Job summary

Mercy is seeking a patient care assistant to support physical therapy services in Oklahoma. The role involves assisting therapists with patient care across ages, helping with registration and scheduling, and transferring patients to the Rehab Therapy Gym.

Qualifications

• One year experience or education in therapies preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication and patient-care skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist therapists with patient care duties for patients of all ages.
• Assist with registration and scheduling of patients.
• Transfer patients to and from the Rehab Therapy Gym.
• Prepare treatment areas and assist with procedures under therapist direction.
• Perform receptionist duties and schedule coordination as needed.
• Provide safe transportation of patients to and from the department.
