Mercy is seeking a patient care assistant in Oklahoma who supports therapists by assisting with patient care across ages, handling patient registrations, and transporting patients to the Rehab Therapy Gym. You’ll work under supervision, follow department policies, and contribute to a compassionate care environment.

Strong communication and teamwork are essential as you help prepare treatment areas, greet patients, and coordinate with nurses and therapists to ensure efficient daily operations.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year experience or education in therapies preferred.
• Ability to assist therapists and follow department policies.
• Excellent communication and patient interaction skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assist therapists with patient care duties for patients of all ages.
• Assist with registration and scheduling of patients.
• Transfer patients to and from the Rehab Therapy Gym.
• Enter charges and prepare treatment areas; assist with procedures.
• Provide safe transportation of patients to/from the department.
• Greet patients and visitors; notify therapists of arrivals.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Occasionally perform receptionist duties and transportation activities.
