Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a licensed therapy professional for a full-time rehab leadership role in a skilled nursing facility. You will oversee interdisciplinary rehab teams, supervise staff, and lead growth and maintenance of therapy programs to improve patient outcomes.

Active license in PT, OT, or SLP is required with current state registration. CPR cert is required, and supervisory experience in post-acute care is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active license in physical therapy (PTA, MSPT, BSPT, or DPT), occupational therapy (BSOT, MSOT, or COTA), or speech therapy (MA, MS, CCC-SLP, or CFY SLP).
• Must be currently registered/licensed with the applicable State and maintain an active license throughout employment.
• Supervisory experience in post-acute care or related setting preferred.
• CPR certification upon hire or during orientation and kept current.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill core competencies of licensed position and provide clinical oversight within rehab discipline.
• Recruit, hire, evaluate, train, and supervise rehab staff.
• Direct growth, development, and maintenance of rehab programs.
• Function as staff therapist as caseload requires.
• Maintain appropriate staffing patterns as clinically indicated.
• Utilize therapy software appropriately and accurately.
• Eextend duties of the DOR in absence.
• Demonstrate strong customer service and professionalism.
