Job summary

Qualifications

• Active license in physical therapy, occupational therapy, or speech therapy as defined by license type
• Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment
• Supervisory experience in post-acute care or related setting preferred
• CPR certification upon hire or during orientation and kept current

Responsibilities

• Plan for patient needs by liaising with patients, families and support departments
• Direct growth, development and maintenance of rehab programs
• Function as staff therapist as caseload requires
• Recruit, hire, train and supervise rehab staff
• Maintain appropriate staffing patterns and utilize therapy software
• Assume DOR duties in their absence and ensure patient rights and safety
