Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking an Assistant Director of Rehabilitation Services to support the Director of Rehabilitation Services in leading physical, occupational, and speech therapy departments. This role ensures high-quality rehab services in compliance with all laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.

The position requires active licensure in physical, occupational, or speech therapy and current CPR certification, with supervisory experience in post-acute care being preferred.

Qualifications

• Active professional therapy license(s) and meet educational requirements for the license type
• State licensure in good standing and current CPR certification
• Supervisory experience in post-acute care or related setting preferred
• CPR certification upon hire or during orientation and kept current

Responsibilities

• Liaise with patients, families, and support departments to plan patient needs
• Provide administrative and clinical oversight as assigned by the DOR
• Direct growth, development, and maintenance of rehab programs
• Supervise rehab staff and assist in recruitment and training
• Maintain compliance with laws, regulations, and Life Care standards
• Communicate effectively within an interdisciplinary team
