Mercy is seeking a Patient Care Assistant to support therapists in a Rehabilitation setting. The role involves assisting with patient care, registration and scheduling, and coordinating transfers to the Rehab Therapy Gym.

Responsibilities include preparing treatment areas, entering charges, and assisting with receptionist duties as needed. Experience in therapies is preferred and candidates should be able to work with patients of all ages.

Qualificações

• Must possess high school diploma or equivalent.
• One year experience or education in therapies preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to work with patients of all ages and in a team.

Responsabilidades

• Assist therapists with patient care duties under supervision.
• Handle registration and scheduling for patients.
• Transfer patients to and from Rehab Therapy Gym.
• Enter charges and prepare treatment areas as directed by therapists.
• Clean/prepare treatment areas, assist with appointment scheduling and filing.
• Provide transportation for patients to and from the department.
