Job summary

Mercy is seeking a dedicated team member to support therapists in patient care across all ages. You will assist with registration, scheduling, and efficient patient flow, while helping transfer patients to and from the Rehab Therapy Gym.

The role requires strong interpersonal skills, reliability, and the ability to work collaboratively with therapists and nurses in a fast-paced setting. High school diploma or equivalent is required, and one year of therapy-related experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• One year experience or education in therapies preferred.
• Ability to register and schedule patients.
• Ability to transfer patients safely and transport as directed.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist therapists with patient care duties.
• Assist with the registration and scheduling of patients.
• Transfer patients to and from the Rehab Therapy Gym.
• Enter charges and prepare treatment areas as directed by therapists.
• Provide safe transportation of patients to and from the department.
• Occasionally perform receptionist duties and transportation activities.
