Job summary

Mercy is seeking a collaborative team member to assist therapists with patient care across all ages. You will help with registration, scheduling, and preparing treatment areas, while ensuring safe patient transport and adherence to department policies.

You'll work closely with therapists, nurses, and other staff to provide compassionate care. A high school diploma or equivalent and willingness to learn are required, with one year in therapies preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of experience or education in therapies preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Assist therapists with patient care duties as directed.
• Register and schedule patients.
• Transfer patients to and from the Rehab Therapy Gym.
• Prepare treatment areas and assist with treatment procedures as directed by therapists.
• Occasionally perform receptionist duties and scheduling.
• Transport patients to and from the department.
• Greet patients and visitors and notify therapists upon arrival.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
