Texas Health and Human Services Commission seeks a Rehab Therapy Tech IV at the Mexia State Supported Living Center. The role supports therapists, assists in implementing treatment plans, and trains staff to ensure consistent execution of therapy plans.

You will work under supervision, drive state vehicle as required, and help monitor progress while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team. Prior experience with ICF/IID settings is favored.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of habilitative and rehabilitative therapy techniques.
• Ability to train staff in treatment methods and related areas.
• Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.

Responsabilités

• Assist in development and evaluation of treatment plans for assigned therapies.
• Directly implements treatment plans and monitors progress.
• Train Direct Support Professionals to ensure continuity of treatment objectives.
• Maintain data collection to assess individual progress and prepare reports.
