Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) seeks a Rehab Therapy Tech IV - Vocational Services at the Abilene State Supported Living Center. This full-time role requires implementing treatment plans, training DSPs, and collecting data to support resident progress.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with therapeutic work for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Knowledge of data collection and treatment monitoring methods.

Responsibilities

• Directly implements treatment plans through hands-on methods and monitors progress.
• Assist in development and evaluation of treatment plans across therapies including vocational services.
• Train DSPs to ensure continuity of treatment plan objectives during hours when therapists are unavailable.
• Collect data and report progress to the interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain required paperwork and ensure compliance with standards.
