Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) invites applications for the Rehab Therapy Technician III at Mexia State Supported Living Center. The RTT III provides habilitative and rehabilitative support under supervision, assists therapists, trains DSP staff, and ensures treatment plans are followed.

A valid driver’s license and willingness to drive a state vehicle may be required. Full-time, day shift.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of therapeutic techniques (e.g., various therapies).
• Ability to train staff in treatment methods.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to develop and follow treatment plans.
• Data collection and reporting capabilities.
• Proficiency with computers and relevant software.

Responsabilités

• Directly implements treatment plans through hands-on methods.
• Trains Direct Support Professionals to ensure continuity and follow-through.
• Assists in developing and evaluating treatment plans for assigned disciplines.
• Gathers data and reports progress to the interdisciplinary team.
