Texas Health and Human Services Commission in Abilene, TX seeks a Rehab Therapy Tech IV for Vocational Services. The RTT supports therapists, provides direct instruction, and helps implement treatment plans for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

A valid driver’s license and ability to drive a state vehicle may be required. Work involves coordinating with Direct Support Professionals and maintaining data to assess progress.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least six months of work experience with people who have intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Experience in applied behavior analysis, sensory integration, or related therapies preferred.
• Valid Texas driver’s license may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Attends work on a regular basis and may work a specific shift schedule or rotating schedule.
• Directly implements treatment plans through hands-on methods and monitors goals.
• Assists in development and evaluation of treatment plans.
• Conducts functional skills assessments and reviews prior assessments.
• Schedules and provides staff training to Direct Support Professionals.
• Gathers data and reports to the interdisciplinary team on progress.
