Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) in Vernon, TX seeks a Rehabilitation Therapy Technician III to support habilitative therapy under supervision. You will assist therapists across disciplines, implement treatment plans, and train staff to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of relevant therapeutic techniques (e.g., ABA, sensory integration).
• Ability to train staff in treatment methods and ensure continuity of plans.
• Knowledge of Joint Commission/Behavioral Health regulations and policies.
• CPR certification or obtain within 12 months.
• Effective written and oral communication; data collection skills.

Responsibilities

• Directly implements treatment plans and monitors progress through direct observation.
• Assists in development and evaluation of treatment plans for assigned therapies.
• Schedules and provides staff training to PNA’s to ensure continuity of plans.
• Monitors program objectives and reports data to the interdisciplinary team.
• Ensures completion of paperwork to meet standards and procedures.
