Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services Commission in Wichita Falls, TX is seeking a Rehab Therapy Technician III to assist licensed therapists across multiple therapeutic disciplines and deliver direct patient instruction under supervision. The role supports habilitative and rehabilitative therapies in a state hospital system serving Texans in need.

The Rehabilitation Therapy Technician will help implement treatment plans, train staff to maintain consistency, and may drive a state vehicle as required.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct contact instruction/training for patients on treatment plans for the RTT’s assigned therapeutic specialty.
• Trains others to ensure continuity of treatment plans and supports therapists as needed.
