Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) seeks a Rehab Therapy Tech III at Richmond State Supported Living Center. The RTT assists therapists, implements treatment plans, and trains DSPs to support residents with developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities include data collection, progress reporting, and adherence to program standards. A valid driver’s license may be required; a state vehicle might be used. This is a full-time, on-site position in Richmond, TX.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of therapeutic techniques and ability to apply them in a clinical setting.
• Ability to train staff and ensure continuity of treatment plans.
• Ability to collect and report data to support progress and compliance.
• Excellent written and oral communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Directly implements treatment plans through hands-on methods.
• Trains DSP staff to ensure continuity of treatment plan objectives.
• Monitors and reports progress to the interdisciplinary team.
• Maintains documentation and program-related paperwork per standards.
• Possibly drives a state vehicle as required.
