Qualifications

• Eighteen (18) months experience working with people who have mental illness or intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Experience in development of treatment and support plans for people with mental illness or intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred.
• Valid Texas driver’s license or ability to obtain it within 90 days after hire.
• CPR certification or ability to obtain within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Directly implements treatment plans through hands-on methods.
• Monitors treatment goals and objectives via direct observation.
• Assists therapists or supervisors in developing and evaluating treatment plans.
• Schedules and provides staff training to ensure continuity of care.
• Collects data and reports progress to the interdisciplinary team.
• Maintains documentation to meet standards and procedures.
