Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services is seeking a Rehabilitation Therapy Technician III to support habilitative and rehabilitative therapies at the Denton facility. You will work under supervision to implement treatment plans, assist therapists, and train direct support professionals to ensure continuity of care.

The role requires knowledge of therapeutic techniques, strong communication, and the ability to collect data and contribute to treatment planning.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of therapeutic techniques (ABA, sensory integration).
• Experience with IDD population preferred.
• Ability to train staff in treatment methods.
• Strong communication skills, oral and written.
• Develop and evaluate treatment plans.
• Collect and report data for progress tracking.

Responsibilities

• Directly implements treatment plans and monitors progress.
• Assist therapists in assigned therapeutic specialty.
• Train DSPs to ensure continuity of treatment plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team on progress and plans.
• Maintain data collection and documentation per policy.
• Support program objectives and compliance with regulations.
