Mercy is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to support licensed Physical Therapists in the delivery of physical therapy services. The role involves performing delegated procedures, adapting treatments per patient status, and documenting progress while ensuring patient safety and dignity.

The incumbent will address age-specific needs, report safety issues, and coordinate with the Therapy department, potentially supervising aides as directed by the supervising PT.

Qualifications

• Current licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the applicable state.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist in delivering physical therapy procedures.
• Document patient progress notes and progress status.
• Support patient safety and privacy; address age-specific needs.
• Coordinate workload with the Physical Therapy team and supervise aides.
