Mercy is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to support the Physical Therapist in delivering physical therapy services. The role will perform procedures and tasks delegated by the supervising PT, modify treatments within the plan as needed, and document patient progress.

You will ensure age-appropriate care, assess and address patient pain, and maintain safety standards while coordinating workload with the PT aide. Mercy emphasizes compassionate care and teamwork from day one.

Qualifikationen

• Associate degree required (minimum).
• Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant from the Arkansas State Board of Physical Therapy.
• American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support Certification.

Aufgaben

• Assist the Physical Therapist in providing physical therapy services as directed.
• Perform physical therapy procedures and related tasks delegated by the supervising PT.
• Modify a treatment procedure within the established plan as patient status changes.
• Document patient progress notes and outcomes.
• Provide technical direction to the physical therapy aide and coordinate departmental workload.
• Address age-specific needs and ensure patient safety and dignity.
• Identify and report patient safety issues according to policy.
