Job summary

Mercy is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to support the Physical Therapist in delivering high-quality care. You will perform delegated PT procedures and document patient progress in a timely manner.

You will provide technical direction to the Physical Therapy aide, coordinate workload, and address the age-specific needs of patients. Emphasis on safety, dignity, and adherence to the established treatment plan is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an Associate degree.
• Valid license as Physical Therapist Assistant (Arkansas State Board).
• American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support certification.
• Entry-level candidates welcome.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist in providing therapy services.
• Perform delegated PT procedures as directed by the supervising PT.
• Document patient progress notes accurately.
• Provide technical direction to the PT aide and coordinate department workload.
• Address age-specific needs and ensure patient safety and dignity.
