Job summary

Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics LLC (CAO) is seeking a Rehab Aide to support Physical and Occupational Therapists and Assistants. You will assist with modalities, set up equipment, disinfect surfaces, and help with front desk duties as needed.

The role requires a High School Diploma, CPR certification, strong communication, and computer skills. Flexibility with schedule and occasional work at other CAO locations is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Experience and proficiency with computers and electronic medical records.
• Maintains CPR Certification for Healthcare Professionals.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate in a decentralized organization.
• Ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with self-discipline and patience.
• Proficient in Windows-based office technologies (Word, Excel).
• Able to work independently and present professionally.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must participate in CAO Rehab Aide training and pass proficiency exam.

Responsibilities

• Assist therapists in treating non-Medicare patients under supervision; help set up modalities and equipment.
• Disinfect clinical surfaces and maintain CAO cleanliness standards.
• Adhere to varying schedules to maximize patient care and volume, including mornings, evenings, Saturdays.
• Assist with laundry and keeping towels/gowns clean and organized.
• Perform front desk duties: answer phones, schedule patients, verify insurance.
• Attend monthly staff meetings or obtain written updates if absent.
• Support clinic operations and staff at CAO locations as needed.
• Participate in Therapy team activities and CAO events.
