Job summary

CAO is seeking a Rehab Aide to support Physical and Occupational Therapists and Assistants in patient treatment under supervision. Responsibilities include assisting with modalities, setting up exercise machines, and helping with front desk duties such as scheduling and insurance verification.

The role requires a high school diploma and comfort with EMR systems, with 2+ years in a physical therapy clinic preferred and CPR certification maintained.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 2+ years experience in a Physical Therapy clinic preferred.
• Athletic Trainer certification preferred but not required.
• Experience with computers and EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist therapists with treatment of non-Medicare patients under supervision.
• Set up and operate modalities and exercise machines.
• Maintain clinic cleanliness and disinfect surfaces.
• Perform front desk duties: phone, scheduling, patient registration and insurance verification.
• Attend monthly staff meetings or obtain the written agenda if unable to attend.
• Support smooth clinic operation across locations and at varying hours.
• Participate in therapy team meetings and events.
• Other duties as assigned.
