Job summary

WellStar Health System is seeking a senior leader to direct all activities for an area of service within the Rehabilitation Division. You will implement standards of practice, departmental policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements to maintain and improve the quality of patient care.

You will oversee staff performance, financial results, patient and customer satisfaction, and coordinate program functions with other hospital departments to deliver quality services

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
• All licenses/certifications required upon hire as applicable.
• Minimum 5 years in rehabilitation management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates delivery of patient care.
• Maintains a safe, therapeutic environment for care delivery.
• Assesses trends/advances to improve outcomes and cost-effective care.
• Oversees daily program operation and adapts care processes with physicians.
• Ensures staff compliance with standards and proper documentation.
