• Current license in the state you will be working as an Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Able to assess basic nursing care needs of geriatric residents.
• Excellent communication with residents, families and staff.
• Ability to maintain composure in crises and using SBARR for physician notification.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care and assess residents on admission and ongoing basis.
• Document assessments accurately and communicate changes to the IDT.
• Participate in care planning and implement nursing orders and treatments.
• Administer medications and IV fluids only if IV certified and within scope.
