Select Medical in Battle Creek, MI is seeking a Rehab Aide to support therapists in outpatient physical therapy. This PRN role involves assisting with rehabilitation procedures, organizing ancillary services, and helping with center operations on Weekdays, Monday through Friday.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, with preferred candidates pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a pre-health field. CPR and First Aid certifications and prior outpatient PT experience are valued assets.

Qualificações

• CPR and First Aid certifications are desirable.
• Prior outpatient physical therapy center experience is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist therapists in rehabilitation procedures and help organize/schedule, and maintain records for ancillary services.
• Observe and report any abnormal patient conditions or responses to treatment.
• Contribute to center operations by supporting scheduling of ancillary services and following up on programs (e.g., OSHA coordination).
• Clean, sterilize and prepare equipment.

Overview

Position: Rehab Aide

Location: 75 Minges Creek Pl Battle Creek MI 49015

Type of Employment: PRN (as needed)

Schedule: Weekdays, Monday through FridayCompensation: $15.00 - $17.00/hour based on experience

In this role, you will assist our therapists in carrying out our rehabilitation procedures and play an integral role in supporting our center operations.

Responsibilities

• Aide therapists in carrying out rehabilitation procedures, organize/schedule and keep records of ancillary services and support other center-specific functions
• Observe and report any abnormal patient conditions, reactions or responses to treatment
• Play a significant role in specific area of center operations (scheduling ancillary services and following up, overseeing a specific program, serving as OSHA coordinator, etc.)
• Clean, sterilize and prepare equipment

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a pre-health profession (biology, rehabilitation sciences, exercise science, etc.)
