Job summary

Select Medical in North Canton, OH is seeking a Rehab Aide to support therapists in an outpatient physical therapy setting. This per diem position offers a consistent schedule of Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings, and compensation of $14.00-$16.00 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

Type of Employment: Per Diem

Schedule: Monday, Wednesday and Thursday (3 evenings per week till 6pm or 7pm)Compensation: $14.00-$16.00/hour (pending experience)

In this role, you will assist our therapists in carrying out our rehabilitation procedures and play an integral role in supporting our center operations.

Responsibilities

• Aide therapists in carrying out rehabilitation procedures, organize/schedule and keep records of ancillary services and support other center-specific functions
• Observe and report any abnormal patient conditions, reactions or responses to treatment
• Play a significant role in specific area of center operations (scheduling ancillary services and following up, overseeing a specific program, serving as OSHA coordinator, etc.)
• Clean, sterilize and prepare equipment

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications

• CPR certification
• First aid certification
• Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy center
