Job summary

Select Medical in Homestead, PA is hiring a Rehab Aide to assist therapists in outpatient rehab procedures and support center operations. This per diem role offers a predictable patient-facing schedule and a hands-on environment where you help organize sessions, prep equipment, and document routine notes.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, CPR and First Aid certifications, and some experience in outpatient physical therapy or healthcare.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR certification preferred.
• First aid certification preferred.
• Experience in an outpatient physical therapy center preferred.
• Health care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Aide therapists in carrying out rehabilitation procedures, organize/schedule and keep records of ancillary services and support other center-specific functions
• Observe and report any abnormal patient conditions, reactions or responses to treatment
• Play a significant role in specific area of center operations (scheduling ancillary services and following up, overseeing a specific program, serving as OSHA coordinator, etc.)
• Clean, sterilize and prepare equipment

Position: Rehab Aide

Location: 495 E Waterfront Dr Suite 240 Homestead, PA 15120

Type of Employment: Per Diem

Schedule: Wednesday 8AM-1PM, Friday 8AM-12PM (some evenings until 7pm)Compensation: $12/hour
