Job summary

RBC is seeking an Associate in Jersey City, NJ, as part of the U.S. Regulatory Reporting and Controls Management function to support FRB/OCC filings and the U.S. regulatory reporting program.

The role focuses on end-to-end report prep, data accuracy, and process automation within the IHC and U.S. Branches. You will collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and Operations to implement changes, strengthen internal controls, and maintain regulatory standards.

Qualifications

  • Experience in U.S. regulatory reporting and regulatory project delivery within the financial services industry.
  • Hands-on experience with Axiom or similar reporting platforms including data integration, automation and optimization of reporting processes.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills to present complex information to senior management and regulators.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Assist end-to-end process for regulatory report preparation, review and timely submission of FRB and OCC filings.
  • Assess accuracy and proper classification of reported data per regulatory requirements.
  • Drive automation and optimization of regulatory reporting platform and processes.
  • Support internal controls environment to ensure regulatory standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, LOBs, Audit, Controllers, and Operations on change initiatives.
  • Identify risk areas and drive corrective actions for compliance.
