Job summary

ExplorUS, headquartered in Overland Park, KS, is seeking a License and Permit Administrator to manage licenses and permits across all locations, ensuring regulatory compliance and timely filings. This role supports site openings, tax and agency compliance initiatives, and maintains audit-ready records.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, assist with vendor onboarding, and contribute to broader compliance projects managed by the licensing team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field required.
• Experience in regulatory or license roles preferred but not required.
• Paralegal background is a plus for understanding legal filings.

Responsibilities

• Manage annual renewals of licenses and permits across locations, including filings and deadlines.
• Prepare, file and track applications for federal, state, and local licenses to operate new sites.
• Serve as a contact for field teams regarding licensing and compliance queries.
• Perform audits and monitor ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Maintain calendar and organized records for timely reporting ahead of deadlines.
• Assist with vendor master data management and onboarding of new vendors.
• Support corporate compliance projects, including legal entity setup and tax compliance.
• Contribute to other compliance initiatives as needed.
