Qualifications

• Experience coordinating licenses and permits across multiple jurisdictions.
• Strong attention to detail and record-keeping for certificates and renewals.
• Ability to communicate with government agencies via email and phone.
• Proactive in following up and resolving licensing issues to prevent delays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, submit, and track license applications and renewals across jurisdictions.
• Monitor status with licensing departments and follow up to move applications forward.
• Research licensing and permit requirements for new projects and scopes of work.
• Review project scope to determine applicable licenses and permits.
• Coordinate with city engineering/public works on encroachment and permits.
• Maintain records of license numbers, certificates, expirations, and renewals.
• Track license/permit fee payments and any surcharges.
• Communicate status updates to project managers, compliance, leadership, and clients.
• Organize supporting documentation such as insurance certificates and registrations.
• Respond to inquiries from municipalities and resolve issues hindering applications.
