Job summary

Per Scholas is seeking a Compliance Manager/Sr. Manager to own the full lifecycle of regulatory projects across 20+ campuses in the United States.

You will drive licensure applications, manage research, and coordinate data-driven processes under the Senior Director, ensuring timely renewals and adherence to federal and state requirements. This non-legal, operational role emphasizes project execution, agency navigation, and policy maintenance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience supporting institutional compliance, regulatory filings, or administrative compliance operations.
• 3+ years managing a compliance program.
• Master's degree or JD preferred.
• Proven ability to collect, organize, and analyze regulatory data with a focus on quality.
• Proficiency in Salesforce CRM and MS Office/Google Workspace.
• Strong written and verbal communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lifecycle Ownership: manage licensure applications from draft to approval across states.
• Regulatory Research: analyze compliance matters to align with laws and regulations.
• Market Expansion Tracking: research licensure/renewal across markets.
• Data Integrity: maintain up-to-date records in Salesforce.
• Process Mapping: document applications and renewals by market/region.
• Documentation & Resource Management: maintain compliance resources and policies.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: gather documents and ensure submission readiness.
• Agency Interfacing: follow up with licensing boards and handle revisions.
• Information Security: handle confidential information with discretion.
• Meeting Representation: attend meetings and share SME guidance.
• Knowledge Sharing: co-lead Compliance Office Hour and training calls.
• Project Planning: coordinate multi-jurisdictional compliance projects.
• Point of Contact: act as operational lead in absence of Senior Director.
• Project Leadership: guide key compliance initiatives with delegated tasks.
