Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Compliance Specialist to protect customers by ensuring products sold on Amazon's Store are safe and compliant. You will identify risks, manage programs, and collaborate with business teams to build solutions that keep customers safe.

You will engage with regulators, partners, and internal teams across legal, policy, and business to navigate complex regulatory frameworks and advance program goals.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in compliance program management, governance, audit, risk or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Experience handling confidential information.
• Experience in compliance program management, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention, or equivalent.
• Experience establishing successful partnerships with internal and external teams to execute tactical initiatives or equivalent.
• Experience with research and investigation skills or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze product regulatory developments in the United States.
• Develop and implement compliance solutions with business and operational teams, clearing blockers and accelerating progress toward program goals.
• Engage regulators about compliance programs and products sold on Amazon's Store.
• Advise business teams on emerging risks and lead efforts to devise and execute risk mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with selling partners to enhance product compliance and safety standards.
