Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking an Associate Corporate Counsel to join the RISC Legal team, focusing on safety and regulatory compliance, including product safety, agency inquiries, recalls, and regulatory engagements. You will advise cross-functional teams to manage regulatory risk across Amazon's Stores and shape responses to product safety and compliance challenges.

You will work with federal and state regulators, and support policy development, governance, and strategic risk mitigation

Qualifications

2+ years of post-bar admission legal experience.
Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic legal counsel to senior business leaders on regulatory matters.
Identify, assess, and manage legal risks across multiple business lines and jurisdictions.
Develop and implement legal strategies that support business objectives while mitigating risk.
Advise on regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and emerging legal issues.
Draft and negotiate complex, commercial agreements.
Lead cross-functional projects and collaborate with internal stakeholders at all levels.
Contribute to the development of legal policies, processes, and best practices.
