McFarland Clinic in Ames, IA is seeking a Registration Supervisor for the Business Services department. This full-time role oversees day-to-day patient registration, coaching staff, and ensures smooth revenue-cycle operations while delivering extraordinary patient interactions.

Responsibilities include supervising direct reports, monitoring workflow metrics, and serving as an escalation point for complex patient concerns.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of medical office or patient registration preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Pre-employment drug screen and criminal history background checks are a condition of hire.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the day-to-day operations of direct reports providing day-to-day guidance, coaching, and support.
• Monitors work queue metrics to identify and facilitate needed changes to workflows/processes within the Business Services department and/or clinical department(s).
• Serves as an escalation point for complex patient concerns, including de-escalation of difficult situations.
• Supports staff in delivering consistent, high-quality patient interactions.
• Monitors revenue cycle and staff productivity dashboards routinely.
• Performs error resolutions requiring independent judgment.
