Job summary

Parkwest Medical Center, part of Covenant Health, seeks a Supervisor of Registration who provides leadership across inpatient, outpatient and ER registrations. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred, however will consider candidates with proven skills and experience in related field.
• Two to three (2-3) years experience in Registration and/or Financial Services area. Knowledge of third party payors and insurance verification required.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities, with focus on data integrity and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily leadership to the Registration Department and monitor productivity.
• Resolve complex registration and outpatient scheduling issues that staff cannot solve.
• Serve as primary contact for physicians, nursing managers, and other hospital departments.
• Maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with Joint Commission and insurance requirements.
• Recruit, develop and motivate staff under the Director's guidance.
• Prepare performance evaluations and coach staff to improve service levels.
