Job summary

Main Line Health's Bryn Mawr Hospital seeks a Registration Scheduling Specialist to be the first contact for patients, collecting accurate data and delivering empathetic service.

You will contribute to understanding financial responsibilities, coordinating with nursing staff and physicians' offices, and supporting a smooth patient flow in a fast-paced hospital setting.

This role offers growth opportunities, tuition reimbursement up to $6,000/year, and PTO benefits plus free parking.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years of customer service experience.
• Excellent customer service and computer skills required.
• Preferred: minimum 2 years of registration experience in a medical setting.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance concepts helpful.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a warm and accurate data collection.
• Explain financial responsibilities and available services to patients.
• Coordinate with nursing staff, physicians’ offices, and other departments to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Maintain courteous, professional communication with the public and colleagues.

Position:

Registration Scheduling Specialist

Shift:

7AM-3:30PM (Mon-Fri w/ every 3rd or 4th weekend)

Experience:

Required:

2+ years of customer service experience.

Excellent customer service and computer skills.

Preferred:

Minimum of 2 years of registration experience in a medical setting.

Knowledge of medical terminology.

Knowledge of insurance and third party reimbursement.

Education:

High school diploma preferred.
