Job summary

Main Line Health is seeking a Registration Scheduling Specialist for Lankenau Medical Center - Outpatient Registration. As the first point of contact, you collect and verify patient data, deliver empathetic service, and help patients understand financial responsibilities and services.

The role offers tuition reimbursement up to $6,000 per year, based on status. You will collaborate with nursing staff and departments to ensure smooth registration, accurate data capture, and outstanding patient

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service experience.
• Excellent customer service and computer skills.
• Minimum of 2 years of registration experience in a medical setting.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Knowledge of insurance and third party reimbursement.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for patients, collecting and verifying data with accuracy and empathy.
• Coordinate with nursing staff and departments to support seamless registration and scheduling.
• Explain financial responsibilities and available services to patients in a clear, compassionate manner.
• Provide outstanding service and support to patients and families.

Registration Scheduling Specialist

Shift:

6:30AM-10:30AM (Monday-Friday w/ every 4th Saturday)

Experience:

Required:

2+ years of customer service experience.

Excellent customer service and computer skills.

Preferred:

Minimum of 2 years of registration experience in a medical setting.
