Job summary

Kilgore College is seeking a Records Clerk within the Office of the Registrar to support an aggressive enrollment program and manage registration records. You will provide timely customer service and maintain accurate student data in the Jenzabar system, helping with drops, withdrawals, and transcript processing.

The role requires high school completion (an Associate degree is preferred), strong data-entry skills, and effective communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or HiSET/GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook; data entry required.
• Effective oral and written communication skills are essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, professional customer service via phone, email, and in person.
• Update student data in the Jenzabar system.
• Process drop/withdrawal requests and assist with transfer credits.
• Communicate enrollment verifications, transcripts, and course descriptions as needed.
• Serve as backup for processing transcripts (Parchment/SPEEDE).
• Contribute to data accuracy and integrity of records.
• Provide general information about Kilgore College in written and oral form.
