Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner to provide direct patient care in respiratory therapy across patient populations in alignment with physician orders. You will consult with physicians on the effectiveness of therapy and serve as an advanced resource for the medical team in respiratory care.

Duties will be assigned as needed to support patient care. Requirements include graduation from a CoARC-approved respiratory care program, current RCP license, and NBRC RRT credential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
• ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care per physician orders.
• Consult physicians on effectiveness of therapy.
• Act as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing on respiratory care.
• Perform duties as assigned.
