Job summary

Qualifications

• Current State Respiratory Therapist Licensure.
• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy.
• Possesses and Maintains an active RRT credential.
• Current ACLS and BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of pulmonary care within licensure scope.
• Administers respiratory therapy treatments and interventions.
• Assess patient pain affecting rehabilitation participation.
• Follows infection control and equipment sterilization procedures.
• Documents data in patient records after pulmonary care.
• Operates and maintains respiratory equipment safely.
• Educates patients and families about treatments and care plans.
• Coordinates care with nursing staff and physicians.
