Job summary

Rancho Seco Care Center in Galt, CA seeks a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist licensed in California to lead our pulmonary program under the Director of Nursing. The RT will execute treatments, oversee staff, and promote health and wellbeing for residents.

Under supervision, the RT provides respiratory care per physician orders, conducts audits, documents outcomes, and maintains infection control standards. The role requires strong leadership and commitment to quality care.

Qualifications

• Current State Respiratory Therapist Licensure.
• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy.
• Possesses and maintains an active RRT credential.
• Current ACLS and BLS Certification

Responsibilities

• Oversees and maintains assessments, audits, and documentation for the pulmonary program.
• Administers respiratory therapy treatments and interventions per physician orders.
• Ensure infection control and equipment safety; supervise other therapists.
• Develops care plans and educates residents and families as appropriate.
• Demonstrates ability to manage shift operations and respond to emergencies.
