Job summary

Mercy Hospital St. Louis is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner to deliver direct patient care per physician orders and to consult with physicians on the effectiveness of therapy. This role requires an RCP license and NBRC-credentialed RRT, with ACLS preferred.

The position is on the Mercy campus and involves a 7:00 PM–7:00 AM shift, with a sign-on bonus up to $10,000. Educational requirements include graduation from a CoArc-approved Respiratory Care program, and physical exertion is part of

Position Details:

Shift: 7:00 PM- 7:00 AM

Sign-On-Bonus incentive included up to $10,000

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program.
• Licensure: Meets state licensure requirements and has a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• Experience: None.
• Certifications: Hold the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential awarded by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). For co-workers who work in the Emergency Room PALS is required.
• Other: Physical demands are attached plus push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs. Plus, pinch up to 10 lbs., kneel, crouch, and crawl minimally. Equipment Used: All appropriate respiratory care devices.
• Preferred Education: Acute Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Preferred Experience: Prefer critical care experience.
