Job summary

Mercy Hospital in Saint Louis, MO seeks a Respiratory Therapist to provide direct patient care across respiratory therapies, following physician orders. You will consult with physicians on therapy effectiveness and act as an advanced resource for staff.

Requirements include graduation from a CoArc approved Respiratory Care program and current RCP licensure; RRT credential is expected. PALS is required for ER colleagues. ACLS preferred; night shifts with possible differential apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CoArc approved Respiratory Care program.
• Meets state licensure requirements and has a current RCP license.
• ACLS is preferred for advanced care.
• No prior experience required.

Overview

Sign-On-Bonus incentive included up to $10,000

Shift

7 pm- 7 am

Eligible for shift differential

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program.
• Licensure: Meets state licensure requirements and has a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• Experience: None.
• Certifications: Hold the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential awarded by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). For co-workers who work in the Emergency Room PALS is required.
• Other: Physical demands are attached plus push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs. Plus, pinch up to 10 lbs., kneel, crouch, and crawl minimally. Equipment Used: All appropriate respiratory care devices.
• Preferred Education: Acute Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Preferred Experience: Prefer critical care experience.
