Job summary

Qualifications

• BLS for healthcare providers is required.
• Specific certifications such as PALS, ACLS, NRP as required.

Responsibilities

• Performs and evaluates diagnostic testing and arterial gases per protocol.
• Administers medications timely and safely; reassesses effect.
• Maintains awareness of patient condition; communicates with team and educates families.
• Completes documentation per standards; monitors supplies and productivity.
• Participates in quality and safety initiatives and continuous improvement.
• Promotes respiratory care and serves as a resource and mentor; may float or be on-call.
