Job summary

Intermountain Health Lutheran Hospital in Wheat Ridge, Colorado seeks an experienced Respiratory Therapist (RRT Advanced) to deliver advanced cardiac and pulmonary care per physician orders. The role supports clinical program initiatives and collaborates with physicians, patients, and staff.

The position offers day shift hours, potential on-call, and on-site work with shift differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends. 36 hours weekly with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of NBRC approved Respiratory Therapist program.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist; advanced credentials such as ACCS, NPS, AE-C, SDS, CPFT, RPFT are preferred.
• Current license for Respiratory Therapy in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory care procedures per physician orders.
• Assess cardiopulmonary status via exam and history.
• Communicate the patient care plan to Physician, patient, family, and nursing staff.
• Independently perform most procedures, assessments, and interventions.
• Support department initiatives and standardization of care.
