Job summary

Intermountain Health in Brighton, CO is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist (RRT Advanced) to provide high-level care in the NICU and other units. You will assess, treat, and monitor patients per physician orders, acting as a clinical resource for CRT staff.

Requirements include NBRC RT program completion, RRT credential, advanced credentials, and state licensure. This PRN role offers shift differentials for evenings, nights and weekends and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Graduate from NBRC approved RT program and licensed to practice in the state.
• Currently registered as an RRT with an advanced credential as required.
• Maintains BLS and additional board certifications as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced respiratory care per physician orders and patient needs.
• Assess cardiopulmonary status and communicate care plans to care team.
• Mentor staff and support department projects and protocols.
• Maintain accurate records and assist with program initiatives.
• May float to other departments and be placed on-call as needed.
