Ascension St. Vincent in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join Ascension Premier Staffing - Respiratory Therapy. You will assess patients, develop care plans, and operate respiratory equipment across multiple shifts on a 36-hour work week.

Role requires BLS within 30 days, NBRC credentials or equivalent, and preference for ALS and PALS. Hospital experience and patient-family education are key components of the position.

Qualifikationen

• BLS Provider required within 30 days of hire date, American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Respiratory Care Practitioner or NBRC Registered credentials required/preferred.
• Advanced Life Support preferred (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
• Neonatal Resuscitation certification preferred.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred.
• 1 year+ of recent RRT experience.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• One or more of the following required:
• Respiratory Care Practitioner obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Respiratory Therapist specializing in Registered credentials from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) preferred.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Additional Preferences

• 1 year+ of recent RRT experience.
