White Oak Medical Center, part of Adventist HealthCare, seeks a Registered Radiology Tech to perform diagnostic imaging including portable and fluoroscopy in a year-round, patient-centered setting.

The role requires ARRT certification, MD licensure, and BLS. Per diem schedule with weekend shifts, 12 hours weekly, offers compensation and benefits aligned with the Adventist HealthCare standards.

Formación

• Graduate of AMA/JRCERT-accredited radiography program.

• Assist radiologists in fluoroscopic procedures and ensure proper shielding.
• Coordinate with HIS/RIS/PACS for accurate patient data and imaging records.
• Maintain ALARA principles and safe patient environment.
• Orient new staff and train radiography students as needed.

Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire a Registered Radiology Tech who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As an Registered Radiology Techt, you will:

• Performs diagnostic imaging studies including portables, fluoroscopy and OR cases. Properly identifies patients, reviews orders and selects diagnostic x-ray protocol in order to maximize quality and safe patient care.
• Accurately performs documentation in all computer systems applicable to diagnostic x-ray (HIS, RIS, PACS, Envision).
• Assists the radiologists in fluoroscopic procedures.
• Knowledgeable and practices ALARA principles including proper shielding of patients.
• Understands types, amount and administration of various contrast media and is able to react in response to adverse contrast reactions.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment
• Performs "front desk" and "transporter" responsibilities as required to ensure optimal patient care.
• Maintains schedule with a flexible attitude to accommodate variable volume.
• Assists in orienting new employees, and training radiography students.
• Participates in PI projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualified candidates will possess:

• High school or GED
• Graduate of an AMA/JRCERT Accredited school of Radiography
• 2 years radiography experience preferred
• ARRT (RT)
• State of Maryland Radiation Technologist license
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Work Schedule:

• This is a Per Diem position with a rate of $45.
• Employment Type: Per Diem
• Hours per Week: 12 hrs/week, 12-hour shifts

• Weekend Requirements: Every Weekend
• Holiday Requirements: Follow company holiday calendar

Pay Range:
