Job summary

Hy-Vee is seeking a Registered Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy team. You will fill and verify prescriptions, counsel patients on medications, and support a collaborative pharmacy team focused on customer care and wellness.

The role includes immunization administration, inventory management, and participation in community outreach programs. A current pharmacist license and ongoing CE are required, with MTM experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree and licensure required; must maintain continuing education to keep license active.
• Medication Therapy Management (MTM) preferred.
• Ability to administer immunizations required.

Responsibilities

• Fill and verify prescriptions and counsel patients in accordance with regulations.
• Support the pharmacy team and participate in education and training of staff.
• Assist with inventory control, ordering, stocking, and invoicing.
• Grow business through wellness programs and community outreach.
• Administer immunizations as certified and maintain HIPAA privacy standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to promote wellness and pharmacy services.
